Wow, I opened the driver installation to copy the text for my first post.ДЄfter writing my post I thought, well, let's just give it one more try and turned it on, pressed retry and it began to install the driver! I kinda lost my way, don't now what to do/install/etc. Clicking Retry is hopeless, doesn't make any difference. Well, the BCF is connected (USB) and yes, it is on! No, no broken USB cable or whatsoever. (If you decide not to install, press the button.) Then press the button to install the driver. Please connect your B-Control to the computer and switch it on. Nice I thought, after 2 days it's going to work! But I needed to update the driver to work with the Baby HUI mode in PT, so I downloaded the update from and tried to install it. I tell it to install the driver downloaded from. Now Windows tells me there's some new hardware connected and I should install a driver. Ok, that works, so now it's in Baby HUI mode, U-1 (no MIDI, connected via USB). On a forum I had to found out that this was incorrect and that I should hold the 5th button pressed when turning on the BCF to get it in Baby HUI.

In the user's manual they talk about pressing Edit and Store to get in the mode selection menu. To use it in PT I need to set it up in Baby HUI mode. Turned out to be more difficult than I expected, cause now, 3 days later, it's still not working. Now you can map the BCR2000 knobs to any bitwig parameters, and bitwig also sends parameter data back to the BCR2000, making sure your hardware knob LED's always reflect what the device parameters are set to in the DAW, dynamically updating the knobs as you change presets, project files, etc.Д®dit: crap, it's still not updating the hardware knob positions correctly when loading projects or presets. set the input and output to your BCR2000 hardware Without this script, your only options are to use your BCR2000 as a 'Generic MIDI Keyboard', which has no DAW>out to the BCR, so it doesn't update the LED's on your hardware, or to use a stock template sysex file thing that behringer provides that permanently locks all your BCR controls to the preset bitwig template (first 8 knobs link to the device's 8 macro knobs, buttons solo tracks, mute tracks, standard 'quick automap' bs)Дrop this file into your c:/Users/YOURNAME/My Documents/Bitwig Studio/Controller Scripts/User/ folder and it will create a new midi controller in the settings, the brand will say 'TomsScripts' and the device will be called 'GenericBCR2000'.

This controller script lets you use your Behringer BCR2000 in Bitwig with both input and output to your BCR2000, which means the LED knob positions on your hardware change and update when you move the corresponding mapped knobs in your DAW, change VST presets, change projects, etc.
